Kaitlin Liese, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist



Dr. Liese lives with her husband, daughter, and 3 rescue dogs in Richmond, RI.  She has been employed by Shoreline Physical Therapy since December 2014.  

Education: Kaitlin received her doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Rhode Island in June 2014.  She has a B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Rhode Island and a B.S. in Communications from Eastern Connecticut State University.  

Graduate School Clinical Experience:  100 hours in hospital-based PT program at Christian Medical College & Hospital, Vellore, India; 480 hours of adult rehabilitation at Norwichtown Rehabilitation & Care Center, CT; 670 hours of outpatient rehabilitation at Independence Physical Therapy and Shoreline Physical Therapy; and 320 hours pediatric physical therapy at Groton Public Schools in CT and Providence Public Schools in RI.

Volunteer Work:  Special Olympics FUNFitness (2015, 2011); Exercise group for senior citizens, particularly women at risk for osteoporosis (2013, 2012); Exercise Group for persons with Parkinson’s disease (2013).  

Other Interests: Kaitlin is actively involved in USA Gymnastics as a judge and gymnastics instructor to children of all ages.  In addition to gymnastics, she enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her family.
