Women’s health is a specialty within the field of physical therapy that addresses conditions that occur across the lifespan and affect primarily women.  These conditions include:

• Urinary Incontinence

• The Prenatal and Postpartum Periods

• Pelvic Pain

• Osteoporosis

• Lymphedema

Not every physical therapist has the training required to treat all women’s health disorders. Physical Therapist at Physiocare have attended courses/continuing education specific to the treatment of urinary incontinence and pelvic pain.  At Physiocare, treatments pertaining to women’s health disorders are treated in a private, closed treatment room to ensure patient privacy, modesty and confidentiality.
